Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Detect AI Watermarks (detectaiwatermarks.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Detect AI Watermarks is a free online tool that scans text for hidden Unicode characters (such as zero-width spaces and variation selectors), optionally performs an AI-generated content review, and lets you clean and copy the resulting text. Anonymous users receive a limited number of daily checks; signed-in users receive a higher daily quota. The service is provided "as is" and "as available".

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass the daily usage limit by rotating IP addresses, clearing cookies, or other abusive techniques.
• Submit content that is illegal in your jurisdiction, infringes someone else's intellectual property, or contains personal data of third parties without their consent.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract the detection algorithm or any underlying model.
• Use the service to make automated bulk requests without explicit prior authorization.
• Use the service to defraud, deceive, or impersonate any person or organization.

Account Registration

Account registration is optional. If you register, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information.
• Keep your password secure and confidential.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Intellectual Property

The Detect AI Watermarks service, including its branding, design, and underlying source code, is owned by its operators. The text you submit remains your property — we claim no ownership over user-submitted text and, by default, do not store it.

Disclaimers

The Detect AI Watermarks service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy or completeness of detection results.
• The suitability of the service for any particular purpose.
• The non-infringement of third-party rights.

A negative result (no hidden characters found) does not constitute proof that text is human-written, and a positive result does not constitute proof that text is AI-generated. You remain solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the service's output.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Detect AI Watermarks and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Changes to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
